And if you read majority of comments then you will realise that there are people who get it, they have past experiences with creative and insightful suggestions, and i want more of that!

Original post: Im an experienced road cyclist. Ive done numerous races on road and gravel and covered great distances. I know what it takes - a lot!

Ive had a few injuries along the way, nothing major, but hurt enough over extended periods to have made its mark.

So when i landed in hospital 5 years ago (unrelated to cycling) i thought ok i have an excuse to take a break. And then covid, so i thought great i can extend the break. And then i moved cities and i thought ok theres another project i can devote myself to rather than cycling again.

Now im settled and theres not much else to do anymore. I need to get going on the bike again otherwise ill eat myself into obesity. All the way from 0 fitness. Im afraid of injuries. Im afraid of struggling. Im afraid of carving out the time from work. Im afraid I might fail. Im afraid I wont be able to do what i used to be able to do.

How? How did you do it? How did you get back on the bike?
