Newbie: Thoughts on 2006 Giant TCR C2

I have an opportunity to buy a TCR full carbon bike($500) but it’s coming up on 20 years old. Ultegra shifters and drive train with 105 brakes.
My current bike is a Specialized Allez that’s roughly about the same age.
