Morning all, I'm hoping to pick your collective brains on the topic of bike storage.
I'm on the search for a wall mounted bike mount. Specifically, one where either the front rim is captured by a hook or the whole front wheel rests in a cradle. The added catch is that I'm looking for something where I can wheel the bike into the rest at ground level, and then hoist the rest up on the wall, I guess using some sort of track and pulley system, thereby pulling the front wheel up and allowing the rear wheel to swing under (and yet still resting on the floor).
The world wide web has yet to provide me with a satisfactory solution, I'm either finding stationary wall mounts, or ceiling hoists. I presume because hanging a bike off a wall mounted track/hoist would put a fair amount of stress on the track/pulley mechanism?
In any case, have any of you lovely lot got something like this for your bicycle storage? Have you built it? Bought it?
