Am about to get one of these brand new, never used(pi 5) from a friend who was once passionate about cybersecurity for a spell before falling victim to the fake, "get a job in 30-90 days", marketing and has since returned to his old job. He knows nothing about anything tech and basicslly wasted a bunch of money buying stuff a youtuber recommened. (Just to explain why I never asked my friend)
Question: I kinda know what a raspberry pi is (tiny, linux-like, single board computer). I want to know what is it's role in cyber security? Am I understanding this correctly in the sense that if I know python, I can program my python into to do whatever it was programmed to? For a home lab, could I use this device to sort of simulate a real world MITM attack or other cybersecurity attacks?
