Pretty bummed out, did a whole bunch of research and spent my time sharing resources with the players (my friends) so we could give it a shot. I didn't even originallhg want to be the GM, but I was the only one who stepped up for it. I warned players that if they weren't serious about participating that they should leave space open for people who want to play. One person dropped out, which I'd respected for the honesty of it. Another player told me that they had work, which I'm totally fine with. 3 of the other players just completely did not join the vc. No warning or no explanation, not a word.
I was really excited, and didn't remotely expect flaking to be THAT big of an issue. What should I do moving forward? Should I just call the campaign quits? Session zero was literally supposed to be a bare minimum session, so I'm wondering if I can even rely on them to show up to normal sessions on a weekly basis
