PS5 freezing at main menu screen

Every time I try to start up a game, as soon as I hit the start button and it takes me to the main menu, the game freezes indefinitely.
Anyone else? I wasn't having any issues last night. This didn't occur until I after I swapped my storage location because the save files were on my console storage while my game file was on my M2 storage slot.
Edit: so far, restarting my console has seemed to fix the issue for the moment.
