Is it just me or does anyone else feel like, instead of just tossing a grenade into the core, they should have made V rip that core out of the chimera?

I was legit getting some serious Ghost in the Shell vibes during this whole fight and was really hoping to see V get to mount the chimera at the end and rip it open like the Major at the end of the fight with the spider tank in the original GitS movie.

Even though the Major failed to rip open the hatch on the tank, imho, it would have been a nice homage to one of the influences for this game, just to see V tear the hatch off bare-handed and rip the core out.

Anyone else, or just me?
