Hello!
Hope everyone is doing well. Last week's competition has officially ended. Congrats to /u/zgold2192 for winning with their card Mimicrow. Also giving a quick shout out to /u/Gloredex with Slumbering Ancient. These cards were completely tied for first, so I solicited some votes from subreddit mods and Mimicrow just edged it out. But congrats to both--I think both of these cards are really neat! This week's secondary award, best legendary card goes once again to /u/Pipquack with their card Griffin-Captain Kurdran. The runner up this week is /u/Schweinmeister1991 with Study Time. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Also, a quick reminder to please use "Generate permanent link" if you host your cards on Hearthcards!
Weekly Competition
For this week's competition, your job is to design a card based around a notable World of Warcraft character. If you aren't savvy with Warcraft Lore, I recommend googling types of creatures, Races, locations, or factions and going to the WoW Gamepedia. There is usually a section called "Notable characters", sorted in order of importance. Then, you just need to grab some art and find a fitting effect. Good luck!
This week's Secondary Award is Best Classic-Style Card. Choose a card that is emblematic of Hearthstone's Classic set Legendaries.
How do I participate?
You can submit your card as a comment to this post below. The card must be in image form, following the rules and theme of the contest. Please do not submit an imgur album with your cards. If you want to submit multiple cards, just direct link both images. During then, you can also browse other entries and upvote the ones you like. Winners are featured in the next Top Cards of the Week post, awarded with an awesome flair, and get to pick the theme for the following week's contest!

- This submissions post will be open for submissions as soon as the post is up.
- Submissions will close and the voting post will be open around noon EST on Wednesday.
- You may only submit ONE entry per competition.
