Greetings! The last competition was Weekly Design Competition #253: Disruption and the winner was /u/NixOfNights with their card Stutter. You can view the runner-ups on the original post. We also accidentally switched the themes for last and this week, so this week we are using what was supposed to be last week's theme, chosen by /u/RazorOfArtorias (I'm also modifying it a bit to be more permissive).

Weekly Competition

Descent of Dragons introduced the Sidequest mechanic, which are essentially Quests that do not start in your hand. These cards were given to only League of Explorers classes, as the Evil classes got their own unique Galakrond Invoke cards. Galakrond's Awakening even further bolstered Sidequests as a mechanic by introducing 2 new "If you control a quest" cards. But, today we want to see what kind of design space Sidequests have for all 9 Hearthstone classes.

For this week's competition, your job is to design a sidequest spell for any of the 9 Hearthstone classes. For reference, here is the Hearthstone wiki page on Sidequests. Good luck!

How do I participate?

When this competition thread unlocks (around noon EST on Monday), you can submit your card as a comment to this post below. The card must be in image form, following the rules and theme of the contest. During then, you can also browse other entries and upvote the ones you like. Winners are featured in the next Top Cards of the Week post, awarded with an awesome flair, and get to pick the theme for the following week's contest!

• This post will be open for submissions and voting around noon EST on Monday.

• You may only submit ONE entry per competition.

• All submissions must be posted in an image format.

• You have until Saturday to post your entries and vote on the ones you like.

• You may not submit cards that you have posted to this subreddit from over a week ago.

• Do not downvote submissions. If they break any rules, please report it instead.

• Entries must be of reasonable length and not abuse formatting to get attention.
