Maysick is still busy so you'll have to make do with me this week. Congratulations to our winner, u/DoctorWhoops who has now won the weekly design competition 4 times! They won last week with their card, Sora the Fearless!
For this week, you'll have to cast your mind into the past and remember all the forgotten archetypes over the years**.** Remember Beast Druid? or Freeze Shaman? or Aggro Priest? There are many archetypes like these that either players or Blizzard tried to push that ultimately failed to establish a place in the meta. But this week is your chance to try to help them. This week, design a card that would support a "forgotten archetype".
How do I participate?
To participate, simply create a card based around the theme. When this competition thread unlocks (around noon EST on Monday), you can submit it as a comment to this post. This competition closes on Saturday where the winner is decided by us mods among the top 5 entries, so upvote the entries you like throughout the week. Winners are featured in the next Top Cards of the Week post, awarded with an awesome flair, and get to pick the theme for the following week's contest!
