Well met! Last week's competition was Weekly Design Competition #237: Positioning. We saw a lot of neat effects, most of which had neat interactions with the Deathrattle mechanic. Nice work! The winner of last week's competition is /u/Zinth01 with the unique minion Nexus Stalker. Congrats! The runners up are u/DoctorWhoops, u/Manam88, u/SmugJustice, and u/owbosh. Thank you all for participating!
Weekly Competition
Battlecry and Deathrattle are arguably the two most iconic effects in Hearthstone. They allow minions to interact with the board in complex ways and provide great depth to gameplay. But there's only about a half a dozen cards that use both effects on the same card for the same effect.
For this week's competition, your job is to design a card that uses both Battlecry and Deathrattle for the same effect. This means cards like Bellringer Sentry and Aya Blackpaw, but not cards like Voodoo Doll or Moat Lurker. Good luck!
