From Azeroth With Love [FAWL] is a full, 135 card set. It's intended to be the first set of the new year (post-rotation), which means that Un'Goro, KotFT, and Kobolds are not available in Standard. The set follows the covert activities of Azeroth's spy agency, including Stormwind Intelligence, the Shattered Hand, SI:7, Gnomeregan Covert Operations, and many more. The tone is one part James Bond, one part Warcraft politics, and one part true Tradecraft.

FAWL introduces a new keyword: Spy, which allows a player to manipulate and gain knowledge of your opponent's hand.

The set focuses on Secrets, and relies on several tight Cycles and relationships between cards. It sets Hearthstone in a more tempo-oriented direction (average minion cost is lower than most sets).

Some notes:

• Art. I tried to get art "good enough", but art has never been a priority for me. I'm a designer first, and almost always design cards first, then try to find art for them. My rationale: As a designer, getting the flavour of a set right is critical, but if I was a real Hearthstone Designer, a bespoke piece of art would be created for my card. I'm not willing to have my design space restricted because the perfect piece of art hasn't already been created. I know this view is controversial, but... meh... I guess. This is my opinion. Yours may differ. Regardless I tried for this set.
  
• I'm not totally happy with Spy. It doesn't feel fun, and if I had infinite time I'd like to rework it. However, I really just want to move on, and call this set complete. The mechanic is so embedded in the set that refactoring it would take more time than I'm willing to commit.
  
• Some cycles to be mindful of:
  
  • Spy synergies
  • Information Broker/Misinformed Stooge allows for Secret tech cards to be always usable
  • Shattered Hand deck thinning
  • Southsea opponent draws
  • Silence own minions/Deathrattles with downside
  • Lesser Tech cards (cards that are conditional tech cards, with less extreme effects)
