Hello everyone. This is part of my series using cards provided from the Class design challenge. My goal with each of these is to make the strongest deck I can, with the intent of seeing if the class creates decks that are competitive (but not broken) in the current meta. First off we have /u/Jxf's Chronomancer.
Cards:
The Deck:
2x Apprentice Horologist 1
2x Foretell Doom 2
2x Grim Seer 2
1x Chronos Guardian 3
2x Fateโs Mirror 3
2x Haste 3
2x Time Stop 3
1x Ashes to Ashes 4
2x Miasma Magus 4
2x Baleful Chronomancer 5
2x Timeways Protector 5
2x Acolyte of Pain 3
1x Arcane Nullifier X-21 4
1x Harrison Jones 5
1x Emperor Thaurissan 6
1x Hogger 6
1x Doctor Boom 7
1x Ragnaros 8
1x Murozond, the Infinite 8
1x Ysera 9
Stuff: I wasn't sure what to do with this class. This is probably a midrange deck, bordering on control. It takes advantage of a lot of card draw and on curve play. The class lives up to expectations in that it has a lack of removal - I didn't have a good answer for that, besides consistently playing minions.
A couple of interesting choices: Hogger was good enough in this deck, given the combo potential with Horologist. Arcane Nullifier is added because the deck was strong on 5 drops and needed a 4 drop. Since the class is good at reducing enemy minions' attack I figure that more spell removal might be used to clear taunt.
Besides this deck, I could maybe make a late game control deck that relies on fatigue, but that doesn't feel like it would work, due to the lack of removal available. Its minions aren't very amenable to aggro or zoo.
