Post Body

Hi everyone, looks like last round has attracted a lot of submissions, despite only being up for a few days. Check them out here, and the results right here:

Weekly Competition

This round is the second in a planned trio of rounds based on the newest set, TITANS. The first round was about a returning keyword, but today, we finally get to delve into the new, fun stuff. As a reminder, the next round will be to design a Titan, so be prepared for that! The round may last a little longer than usual, thought, because the Titans are kind of a big deal to design.

Be reminded that for this and the next round, the "no submission of subreddit posts older than a week" rule is lifted. EDIT: However, a new rule is being put in place: if your card has previously been explicitly mentioned in a past weekly competition's result, as the winner, runner-up or secondary award winner.

Finally, '365' is a somewhat significant number! I was afraid of thinking up a calendar-related prompt, but thankfully, the set got announced and I get to get away with just themeing a sub-prompt around it.

Prompts

Your prompt this week is to design a card that has the new Forge keyword. This keyword lets you drag a card over your deck to pay 2 Mana and upgrade it (as of now, just once). NOTE: Unlike the previous round, you can't simply create a card contains the keyword in reference without having a proper Forge effect of its own.

The secondary prompt is 🗓️🕰️🌼☀️🍃❄️.

How to participate

Submit your card in the form of a comment on this post which includes a link to the image of your card. If you are submitting several pictures (e. g. a card and its tokens). Ideally, check that your links ends on a '.png' or a similar image format. Feel free to browse other entries and leave your feedback on them in the meantime!

FAQ & Tips

  • How do I create a custom card? To create a custom card, you can use the generator at hearthcards.net.
  • How do I best submit a card? Best submission practice: Upload your card to imgur.com, right-click it and select 'Copy image address' (or similar) to get a link directly to the image, which you include in your comment.
  • Does my card fulfill the prompt? Unless your card breaks any subreddit rules or VERY clearly doesn't follow the prompt, it will be included in the voting post. From then on, it is up to every voter to decide.
  • I have further questions about the comp, what to do? Feel free to contact us via modmail, and do check out the #subreddit-comps channel at the CustomHearthstone Discord server!
