Recommendations for a mid level flat iron?

I love my curls but do enjoy a nice straight look here and there. I have an expensive blow dryer that gets me like 80 percent of the way there but I need to use the flat iron if I want to be able to wear it down. Any recommendations in the 150 or less range? I’ve been borrowing my daughters but she’s off to school soon. I’m somewhere in the 3B 3C hair, and it’s very very thick.
