Hi curlies!
I have veery low elasticity on my hair, it breaks instantly. Everywhere I looked it says I should have high porosity hair in need of proteins, but I have low porosity (my hair takes forever to dry and is quite shiny).
I’ve been hydrating with a weekly mask (today I started with a better one with a bit of protein) but I’d like to have some input as what should I do in this case to gain elasticity (NOTE: GAIN ELASTICITY, not change my porosity). I have high density coarse hair. Thank you! 💙
My curly routine: - cowash tot herba (~horse tail sage conditioning) - conditioner hairfood papaya - gel Revlon scrunch (I need to find something stronger) Pantene mousse - Plopping diffuser
Former routine in case that affects it: light shampoo with sulfates mask with silicones as conditioner leavin lush r&b and lush queen bee (has beeswax). Maybe 3 times I did a coconut mask
