I recently learned that our massive updo thread post was deleted :(
I did some digging to find the original and here's a repost! I would like to credit the OP but respect that they may have deleted it for a reason and will refrain from naming them here.
While we're at it... what else do you all have up your sleeves? :D Let's take the opportunity to add more!
Most of these styles work for all types of curls, although some would need to be tweaked a bit to work with super dense 4a-c hair. They can all be done with medium or long hair, as long as enough bobby pins/ponytails/etc are used to keep hair in place. Again, super short hair (chin length or shorter) could probably do some of these, as long as they experimented a little.
These styles can also usually be done with damp hair! But for all of them, make sure you have product in your hair to keep frizz and flyaways at bay, and for some of you, consider setting the style in place with hair spray or a little extra gel.
Feel free to post questions or ask for advice - but remember, everyone has different hair thickness, density, length, etc - so if some of these don't work for you or don't turn out exactly right, don't give up! Try variations on the style and maybe it will work out :D!
Okay, here we go:

Well, good luck all. You can obviously skip any curling steps that are included in these tutorials, and remember to experiment - everyone's hair is different and will take different amounts of bobby pins or hair ties or whatnot! Feel free to post pictures in the comments if you give any of these a try and fall in love :3
