I tried using curl cream and it looked great the first time (pic 3 and 4) but bad every new time I try it.

I’ll post the routine in the comments. Pic 1 and 2 are now and 3 and 4 were the first time I tried the same method. It looks a lot better the first time I tried it, but now every time I try it, it looks worse for some reason?
