Pixie cut for curly girls?

Hi everyone! I’m heading to the barber tomorrow, and I’m getting my hair cut short! I’m wondering if anyone else has cut their hair in a pixie/short style and loved it? I have 3B/3C curls and I’m sick of them hanging like a sad poodle. I need va-va-voom!
