About a month ago, everything just dried up. I went from a dribbled-below-average amount (with one rope every now and then) to maybe a single drop - in fact, I’m pretty sure that there has been some “retrograde ejaculation” involved - regardless of how much I hydrate. At 50 , i know that volume decreases - but this absolutely sucks. Though orgasms feel no different, it DEFINITELY takes a lot fun out of it. Frankly, it’s been a bit frightening.
My wife has even noticed that something’s up. She has learned that the amount/distance often equates to how good it felt, how long it’s been and how long it took to get there. She’s now worrying that’s she’s doing something wrong!
The good news is that I think I tracked it down. The bad news is that I’m 99% sure that it’s from my blood pressure medication. Aside from this side affect, it’s doing its job with no other issues.
Still, I’m tempted to stop taking it just so that I can return to the slightly-below-average amount that I had before!
Summary: We would all like more but don’t take for granted what you already have. Losing it all is worse than you’d think.
