Tips for people trying to explore the community for the first time

Me M21 and my girlfriend F20 Uk have been discussing the possibility of trying out something like this for a while. At first I was very unsure but after some deliberation we discussed and thought it would be fun to try out. The only issue is that we our clueless about the logistics of it all. If any queans or cakes have any advice on where to get started we'd love to know :)
