CU Gaming NA LCS Spring Finals Viewing Party at The Dark Horse - April 8th - 1pm-5pm
Post Body

The North American League of Legends Championship Series Spring season is about to come to an end with an explosive finals scheduled for the 8th. The semifinals are set for this weekend with the best teams in NA competing for a $200,000 dollar prize pool.

The top four teams this spring are:

Echo Fox - Backed by legendary retired basketball player Rick Fox, EF has dominated the season so far. While their last season was disappointed, they made a few roster swaps and have built some of the best support infrastructure in the entire league. With previous world champion Huni on their team, they are looking to be the favorites moving forward.

100 Thieves - New to the scene this season and formed by Call of Duty personality Nadeshot and backed by the Cleveland Cavaliers, this team is looking to make a name for itself. With a star-studded roster, including the likes of Ssumday and Aphromoo, they were predicted to be in the top half of the teams. After a rough early season, 100T surprised everyone ending with the same record of 12-6 of the superteam Echo Fox.

Team Liquid - One of the oldest teams in the league, TL looked to revamp it's team this season. After many 4th place finishes in the NA LCS, owner Steve was able to garner quite a few big name sponsors to help the team sign some of the biggest names in the league. With previous world champion Impact and world-famous botlane duo Doublelift/Olleh, Liquid was predicted to be the best team in the entire league. After a few unfortunate losses, even after all that work that was put in, TL ended 4th in the regular season but aims to finish the playoffs in first.

Clutch Gaming - Another new team to the league formed by the Houston Rockets. CG focused on building the best management for the team creating one of the largest scouting systems of any LCS team. They formed a team that a lot of people questioned but after a solid season and a complete upset in a tiebreaker against multi-time LCS winners Team Solo Mid, CG hopes to prove that you don't have to have star players on a team to take ahold of the championship trophy.

We'll be holding a viewing party for the finals at the Dark Horse on April 8th from 1pm-5pm. Free snacks and drinks will be provided. There will be no entry fee to this event.

Riot and TESPA have both sent us quite a bit to giveaway so come ready to take some awesome swag home.

We hope to see you there! Let me know if there are any questions!
