Hey Folks,
I'm using Cubase 12 Artist. I usually write Drum tracks using the MIDI Drum-Editor. This way, all drum parts, hi-hat, snares, kicks, toms, etc., are in one track. However, in EQ, Compression and other effects I would really like to be able to affect these individually. Is there a tool that allows me to split a MIDI-Track by the respective drum parts it uses? I would like to be able to write the drum part in one track and then just do one click and it batch creates new tracks, one per instrument used in the original track. Help would be very appreciated, thanks :)
EDIT: Solved thanks to the great commentators! It can be done via selecting the track and then go MIDI > Dissolve Parts. That creates a new separate track for each different part. :)
