I want to apply for graduate school, but am not close with any professors for recommendation letters.

Post Body

I’m a current senior here and I have one semester left, graduating in Spring 2023. Throughout my time at CSUF since freshman year, I haven’t really became close with any professors such as participating in class or going to office hours. For the graduate program I want to apply for, it requires 2 recommendation letters from professors. This really has got me unmotivated to apply, but I really want to go to grad school! I only just realized I want to go a couple months ago.

Theres this sweet old professor from Spring 2021 (pandemic, online format) that I interacted with, but its been a while and he most likely does not remember me. Other than that, I need 1 more but I’m just afraid of professors saying no because they don’t know me. I’m honestly embarrassed to ask to begin with.

This is probably just a rant post. I could honestly try to become close to professors next semester. :/ If anyone is or was in the same boat as me, feel free to share on what you did.
