How good are the Chemistry and Biology professors?
Post Body

Hi everyone, Iā€™m an undergrad transfer student who will attend CSUF during the fall semester of 2023. Iā€™m also going to major in Biology, with Biotech concentration. I just looked at the upper division courses I need (like Bio 309 and Chem 421), as well as search the professors that I would potentially have. I looked at their reviews and most of them have BAD reviews. I am afraid that this may affect my GPA once I take those professors (there are no other options, unfortunately). So, I wanted to know how are the Bio and Chem professors in upper division classes are? Are they tough graders? Are they really bad like what the reviews say or the class is just difficult in general? How were you able to get an A (or B)?

I have a decent GPA right now at CC and Iā€™m really scared this might drop once I take upper division courses :-(
