Thanks to /r/gavin19 I'm a lot further forward than I was :-). Which really just means I've hit the next brick in the road of my incompetence (blush). So having tried my somewhat feeble best, may I seek the wisdom of those here?
I'm trying to switch the gif for the downarrow used to select sortorder. I'ver created my own blue arrow to replace the gray, and uploaded it to my subreddit stylesheet area. I've also edited the stylesheet. The good nes? The gray downarrow is indeed either replaced (or, I suppose, overlaid) with my own blue one. The bad news? The blue arrow is repeated over the length of the sort option in the menu - which means i've undoubtedly done it wrong.
