How to input a rotating banner (not animated)?

Working over at /r/bravefrontier,
I just wanted to know how would one set-up a rotating banner? As in, the banner will change to a different picture as you refresh/click links within the subreddit?
Example: Go to the subreddit, banner 1 shows. Refresh or click a link post in the subreddit, banner 2 shows. Repeat action, banner 3 shows. etc
