Hey, I'm currently a student who has fallen in love with C#/Xamarin from my current job as a .NET Developer.
I will be finishing up schooling soon (depending on if I plan to continue my education), and I have stumbled upon Xamarin University.
Essentially, $2,000 a year is the cost. They advertise 50 courses available and make it sound like an online school. You can graduate there as a "Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer", which only their offer the certification (giving it value to employers who use Xamarin I would assume), and they do seem to have a wide variety of classes within Xamarin.
Basically, I am debating on doing it while I work full time once I graduate, if I chose not to continue my education.
My question is, is there any value to this? On one hand, it's certification, but on the other, it seems really specific (not every business uses C#, let alone Xamarin), and at $2,000 a year, lots of other certificates are a ton cheaper.
Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth it?
