Hi guys,
I have a 27 inch 240hz monitor and my specs are 5600x and 3070 OC edition.
Iv'e done much trouble shooting to stablish my FPS on Native 2560x1440..... and nearly everything on low settings and i get a steady 200 fps without any stuttering.
Because my monitor is 240 i wanted to try get that amount out of it so someone suggested i play on black bars to gain more fps but what i noticed is that on black bars i'm not really seeing a fps gain its nearly the same and im also needing to increase my graphics settings to max to improve visibility.
Now someone who works in IT and has CS2 has explained to me that black bars works different in CS2 because previous versions of CS were CPU bound where this game is also GPU intensive... and that using black bars I wont gain more fps because over all my system is having to do extra work to downscale the image to load it into the game... im wondering if this is true that black bars is actually more work for the machine and that im better off on lower native resolutions to improve the fps?
Please note before people post trouble shooting guides i have debloated windows 11 and XMP is turned on a long with Resize Bar off in bios power is on ultimate launch options have -threads and -high
