Handed a very personal candidate questionnaire
Post Body

I was contacted some days ago by a random consulting company for a position for a german company. After the initial phone screening, they sent me some stuff to fill, and found myself with a weird questionnaire: After the basic random "what you know about CS" questions (including one asking my current salary), I got some more... personal ones, asking about if I had disabilities, or if I've done any kind of military service.

So, the quick question is "is this even legal?" I'm Spain, and is to work in Spain, and honestly, it feels like a huge "why the fuck do you care about all of this", and don't really feel very comfortable answering (even though most are "no, no, no, nope, no"). I don't see the interest of the company on knowing, for instance, if I've been on the army (Specially given in my country the mandatory military service was canned years ago).

P.S.: Just in case, this is not about "just answering no, no, no", but about learning if this is legal. I mean, I don't like this kind of questions, and I would like to know if they are overstepping or if its me the one who is overparanoiding.
