I recently received a job offer in London, to where I will be relocating next year.
One aspect of the offer is a matching pension plan. Iโm contemplating whether to contribute or not, given that I donโt plan to stay in the UK for more than five years. Additionally, my understanding is that the pension plan allows access only at 55 (20 years to go).
Should I take advantage of the matching contributions and the age restriction for accessing the pension plan?
Also, if Labour wins, will taxes significantly increase?
Iโd appreciate any insights or advice from those familiar with similar situations.
Thanks in advance!
