Pivoting from Salesforce Email Dev to Full-Stack JavaScript
Post Body

Currently make $120K ish per year as a senior email dev but I want out.

Iā€™m learning the MERN stack now and should have a few basic projects built by the end of the holidays. I have work experience with Handlebars, Git, Agile and project management odds and ends. I also have a lot of Salesforce experience but Iā€™d like to leave that as far behind as possible.

Any advice on pivoting? I imagine my first job will either be hybrid email dev/front end or front end with a decent pay cut.

Finances are not an issue for me for the next six months.

Funny side note: My email developer coworkers think Iā€™m crazy. They think Iā€™m giving up a sweet niche.
