Should I re-market my title from Tableau Developer to Data Analyst, if my goal is to become a DS?

I currently work as a Tableau Dev, which means meeting with case team members/stakeholders and gathering requirements, developing dashboards, and reiterating based on feedback.
The reason I thought of this was because of all the jokes about people with DS job titles who just use SQL and tableau. Not sure if it’s actually true, but could/should I remarket my job title if I want to become a “real” DA/DS?
