Hello all, I am posting this to ask for advice on how to best advance in my future as a New Grad Software Engineer at a Fortune 100 company. I am graduating with a CS and Mathematics degree from a top 20 CS school this week and will be starting the role in June. I do have good talking skills and my plan is to use their tuition reimbursement program to start classes towards an ALM or MBA and get into management as soon as I can. Do people here have experience in getting a ALM or MBA young (around age of 24 or 25) and then progressing in a management role within a tech company? Is it odd to be in a management role at such a young age? I am just trying to understand what best route can I go down to make the most money as soon as I can based on the skills I have obviously if I am willing to work as hard as it takes.
In long term my plan is not to stay in corporate for too long. My plan is to pay off loans and get a good foundation and then go into business whether software related or not within 7 years.
Thanks for reading. Stay safe.
