Is it a bad idea to remain unemployed?
Post Body

I'm a new grad. Due to corona, my job offer at a startup was rescinded. Now that I'm unemployed, I have two options:

  1. Stay unemployed for ~2 months. Practice Leetcode and prepare for FANG. Then apply to FANG once I'm prepared.

  2. Immediately start applying to smaller companies that are easier to get into. Apply to FANG immediately as well. Even if I fail the interview, I'll learn from the experience.

Which one makes more sense?

I've moved back with my parents. They are ok with me staying with them for a few months.
