In terms of employment is there any difference between an SE and CS degree?

Hey I'm in third year Software Engineering in Toronto, Canada. I'm just curious if in the long run what advantage would I have over a computer science student? It seems as though both degrees funnel into the same career options. Any clarity on this would be great, thanks!
