When on contact though an agency is it okay to ask for a bigger cut
Post Body

So here is my situation, I've been on a contract for about a year and going into year two, I would like to offset the lack of benefits by increasing my hourly by a small percentage. I know the agency gets nearly double my rate, and I don't begrudge them a healthy margin, is it safe to negotiate?

Also for the agency, what markup is actually justified given they provide nothing but billing and issuing a W-2?
