I graduated from RIT about 2 years back, but couldn't find a job directly after college. I needed work, and a computer, so I became a line-cook and bartender at a restaurant since I did that while I was in school. I was stuck there and had to quit cuz i was honestly not making any progress in my life. I have a portfolio I'm proud of and I feel more confident than when I left college, but I'm worried that my lack of professional experience is really setting me back. I keep hearing about how much experience I don't have. I know looking for work takes time, but I need the money.
I recently had an interview with FDM and they're saying I could start soon, and they're the only company I've heard back from. Is it worth it to go there and get my foot in the door? Or should I just keep looking?
