What roles could I get with my current experience/skill?
Post Body

A little about me: 26, been working since I graduated at 21.

I've been working at my most recent job doing what I would call software delivery. Basically I take a customer's mess of data, write python scripts to store it all in appropriate database and then use our software's api to take it out and insert it into the platform so the visualization can be run.

So this is great and its taught me a lot but its not a common position. I am interested in changing companies and cities and jobs.

The eventual area I want to be involved in is with machine learning algorithms. All of my side projects recently have had to do with machine learning. However, getting a job as a data scientist or in machine learning generally requires a lot of expertise, something which will take me a year or two at least to garner. Actually one reason I want to move is to find a bigger city where I can meet other people doing machine learning projects. I think I would learn much more effectively with other people interested in and working on the same things as me.

So now here we are. I need to get a job in a bigger city. Im not sure what kind of jobs I would quality for, or how I would search... Most of the time, I feel like the search websites force you to search for the job title first, but idk what that is.

So yeah, any ideas on what kinds of titles I should be looking out for? It would be especially awesome if they could teach me stuff/I could work with people working on machine learning but beggars can't be choosers of course.
