Is it really important that I get a computer science degree?
Post Body

I'm about to start my freshman year of college and i'm thinking about changing my major from computer science to economics or something business related. It's not because I don't want to do anything with computers, it's just that I know how to program (i've been teaching myself for 4 years now) and I've been a freelance web developer and have just been hired by a web consulting agency. Is that enough? Is it necessary to get a computer science degree?
