Info:

  1. These are all for internship positions next summer
  2. I currently have an offer deadline from company C on Sept 30
    1. This is a newer fintech company that people won't have heard of
  3. At the same time, I am moving to a final round interview with company A
    1. I have already told company A that I have an offer deadline from company C
    2. Company A is a large, well-known tech company too
  4. I just received word today that I have a final round interview scheduled (later this month) with company B
    1. This interview will happen before I do the final interview with company A
    2. This is a well known company where the name itself has some serious weight/leverage (think big M)
  5. I am most interested in company A, and want to work for them

The question I want input on is: should I tell my recruiter that I have a final round interview even if they already know about a different offer deadline? The goal is to increase my chances the most with company A.

One reason against doing this is that I already have the final round interview with company A, so waving another company's name in their face doesn't really do much more for me. It may even appear arrogant to them.

The counter to this argument is that having this giant name-brand company known to them will make me seem more attractive, especially since I haven't met with the hiring manager for the final interview yet. It may put even more pressure on them to snatch me while they can
