For context I come from a social sciences background and learning coding cause its useful for research projects and data analysis.
I'm wondering if I'm supposed to be memorizing the code that I use for a project? Like, I know that lots of coders look things up in documentation and online, so I'm wondering at what point do you actually know how to code proficiently if you can look it up?
I know looking things up is different when you have base knowledge.
I'm just unclear on how exactly I'm supposed to be learning/approaching this.
