So I’m working a 10 week internship this summer, and I will be receiving a return offer for next summer for full time work. In addition, I was asked if I would like to transition my internship to part time (20hrs/week) and extend it into the Fall. Whether or not I accept the extension has no effect on the return offer.

I am not sure I want to take it though, for a few reasons. For one, I am studying leetcode right now for interviews in the Fall, and I don’t think I can balance going to school full time, part time work, and also studying leetcode & interviewing for better full time offers.

On the other hand, is having a longer internship that much of a resume booster? This is the only serious internship I have on my resume. Basically, is my time better spent leetcoding hardcore or getting slightly more work experience and leetcoding a tiny bit whenever I can squeeze it in?
