Got Game ban on 13 December 2023 in middle of casual game on a empty server only 3-4 players were there . Pop up window came , you are game banned , I didn't understand anything, I closed the game immediately and checked my Profile it had game ban (overwatch) by AI no human. Panicked I immediately raised ticket to steam , but steam support works differently when you get Gameban (they don't listen to you) , start writing on steam discussions , twitter , reddit, stumble across many people, some were encouraging and some were discouraging trollers , saying I am hacker I deserved it.
I opened my account yesterday found that I am unbanned on 31 Saying it was false game ban and done by mistake.
I always had a clean record, I don't play competitive matches only casual and death matches.
My Concern is that there new Anti-Cheat system causally imposing Game-ban on casual game on a Player who always had clean history , my steam profile is 102 level with 500 plus games. Inventory almost full 950 ish itmes. And after 2 months saying your it was a mistake.
I think ,I was very very lucky that I got Unbanned I have lost hope as steam support treats you as Animal , doesn't reads the tickets info just put same bot reply messages.
CS should improve their anti cheat and steam support.
During this time I made a new account played CS on same system nothing happened, and non prime lobby is full of blatant hackers , you report them nothing happens. Steam should improve Steam support at least if you are not coming up with good Anti Cheat. Thank you for reading my rant.
