A legend of some kind of beast that’s close to my hometown. This beast is referred to as Pitty-Pat, and has been sighted on Shipley Hollow Road in Hamilton County, Tennessee with locals calling this area "Pitty Pat Hollow". According to the legend, in 1775 a female settler and her four children were crossing a bridge on their way home in a horse and buggy, when they suddenly heard a “pit, pat, pit, pat," and a beast about the size of a cat ran out on its hind legs in front of the horse. The beast has been commonly referred to as an imp, but the psychical description of the creature can vary. In modern times, the beast has been reported jumping in front of cars. What do you guys think? It could have just been a cat or something, or maybe it was a cryptid.
