Just had a look at a 2000 Honda CRV with 220,000km on it. The check engine light is on it though and owner claims it is due to having no cat.
I took it for a drive and it felt nice, but there was a bit of rattling and he said it was cause the exhaust is a bit loose cause of the fix.
I'm more worried about the check engine light being on, is that an issue? Everything else felt great and I'd appreciate some help as I'm new to Canada and don't know much about buying in a winter climate.
I didn't see any visible rust. Only minor cosmetic rust.
