I own a 2012 Cruze LT 1.4. Got in in standard transmission. I bought it with a clutch issue that I have fixed since the purchase but I find the shift from 1st to 2nd gear lurches pretty bad anything above 2500rpm. I'm running everything stock in the engine bay atm and the car doesnt accelerate much in 1st. I take off and rev up to 3000rpm, clutch in and wait for the rpms to drop, and shift into 2nd just so it wont lurch. 2nd gear and up, I find is shifts pretty smooth 2500rpm and up.
Is this normal amongst manual transmission vehichles (its my first vehicle)? Anyway to improve that 1st to 2nd lurch? Is it a problem in the transmission?
