Not enjoying my 2nd playthrough as much...
Post Body

I started playing CK3 when I'm not streaming and became obsessed with it. I'd end up staying awake till 6am playing it. Started in Ireland but not as the tutorial guy. I ended up making a lot of mistakes as I learned the game more but eventually conquered all of Britannia (almost) through intrigue, marriages and lots of wars.

Then I decided to start a new dynasty game and played as Charles the Bald in France. I modified him via savegame editing to make him basically a more custom-looking character (I didn't like the fact that a custom ruler created a new random dynasty) and so far the Karling dynasty is doing great and he created the empire of Francia before he died. Buuutttt it's just not as fun when the kingdom was already made vs when I started as one of like 8 petty kings on a small island LOL.

Have your experiences been the same? It seems to me to be way more fun to start lower, like a petty king / duke and then move on up than to start as a big king already...
