How does one go about S-Video modding a CRT?
Post Body

I have a Zenith CRT and it’s kind of disappointing if I’m being honest. It only does composite and I feel like it should still look better if I could adjust some settings but alas, not even a remote. Almost half the front buttons aren’t even labeled but don’t bring up the settings menu, if there even is one. I’d at least like to get S-Video running since I have an S-Video Cable that ought to work for my SNES-GameCube, although I do have a Carby for the GameCube so it’s primarily for SNES and N64 atm, unless I could also component mod it. I’d ideally like SCART as well but I doubt that’s an option. At the very least I’d like S-Video on it, but I’m having trouble finding any resources to mod it, and I don’t know if I’d need to find a tutorial for my specific TV and model, which seems unlikely as there’s hardly any information I can find on the damn thing of any kind.

I do have a soldering iron and such, if that’s necessary. I also have a file I can use to open up an area for the ports smoothly. To get a reference for my skill level, all I’ve done with the soldering iron is Picoboot my GameCube. Successfully, on the second try I believe.
