FYI, that title was supposed to be funny, but in retrospect it's kind of pathetic lol.
ANYway, in order to get through the winter, I really want to make some crow friends. Where I used to live, I had mourning doves, blue jays, robins, starlings, and cardinals mostly. But now that I'm back living with my parents (in a suburban town) I'm going to take over my mom's feeders. She has 1 regular feeder and 1 feeder for suet.
The problem is, I work 9 to 6 every week day so I probably wouldn't even be able to see them during the day if they ever come, which sucks.
What's the best way of approaching this? Should I get one of those suction cup feeders to attach to my bedroom window instead or use the backyard feeders that are already there? I know crows like unsalted peanuts (shelled or unshelled?) so I can buy those. But what else will I need to draw crows to my yard or feeder?
